About Hope Outreach Ministry
Hope Outreach Ministry opened in December 2011 and is located at 1530 Superior Ave N.E. in Canton, Ohio. Hope Outreach is a faith-based 501C3 nonprofit based organization. Our mission and purpose is to go into the community and serve all those in need. We are a ministry where no one is turned away, and we include even the most unlovely as the Lord has asked us to do. current building to keep serving.
Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services (ODJFS)
Hope Outreach works with the ODJFS to help individuals in need qualify for food stamps and cash assistance. Individuals commit to working at Hope Outreach by helping others and meet their program requirements. The objective upon completion is assist the individual to achieve a full-time job.
Community Service
Hope Outreach also works with prison release programs (non-essential crimes) for Stark and other counties. Participants are required to assist helping to serve meals, clean and help unload provisions for the needy as part of their community service requirements. The program began 12 years ago and has had over 3,000 individuals successfully complete the requirements. The objective is to sponsor a productive citizen for our community.
Senior Volunteer Program
Hope Outreach established the Senior Ameri-Corps program in 2021. Volunteers help to serve meals, sort clothes for the needy among other duties.
